Château Mylord, Entre-Deux-Mers (Bordeaux), 2008 Fresh, fruity but dry white wine from this area in southern Bordeaux. The wine is a good all-rounder

you enjoy Pinot Grigio, you’ll enjoy this.
| 5,20€ | £4.60 |
Muscadet de Sèvre et Maine, Sur Lie, La Griffe, Chéreau-Carré (Loire), 2008 Chéreau Carré is one of the best producers of Muscadet. This is a bone-dry wine that has a zingy lemony
freshness about it, without the acidity that so many Muscadets can have. Also, having been made "sur lie",
the wine has more body and spiciness. This wine is of high quality and offers great value. | 5,30€ | £4.60 (UK: £7.60) |
Gros Manseng-Sauvignon, Vin de Pays des Cotes de Gascogne, 2007 Recently voted by the Swedes as their favourite budget white wine in the world! Alain Brumont’s wine

of the Gros Manseng. Different but delicious. | 5,60€ | £4.90 |
Picpoul de Pinet, Domaine Morin Langaran (Languedoc), 2008

Domaine Octavie, Sauvignon de Touraine (Loire), 2008 A stylishly crisp dry but fruity wine that is so much better value than Sancerre, a few miles further east!

reasonable price. | 6,00€ | £5.20 |
Viognier, Domaine de Lascours (Languedoc), 2008 A light but aromatic dry wine that is really refreshing. A wonderfully grapey example from this exciting winery
– and it’s super value for such a deliciously grapey wine. | 6,00€ | £5.20 |
Sauvignon Saint-Bris, Bailly-Lapierre (Burgundy), 2005 This is the only Sauvignon allowed in the Burgundy area. It is grown just outside Chablis and is fresh

Pinot Blanc, Cuvée Traditionnelle, Robert Faller et Fils (Alsace), 2007 A refreshing dry wine with a grapey softness on the nose and in the mouth. Lovely and easy to appreciate

occasions such as weddings. | 6,90€ | £6.00 |
Château Tour Bicheau, Grand Vin de Graves (Bordeaux), 2006
Traditionally white Graves wines have a slight spiciness on the palate. This wine is made from 70%
Semillon and 30% Sauvignon, so has a full dry but refreshing flavour which makes it easy to appreciate.
We believe that this wine shows at its best when served with white meats. | 7,10€ | £6.20 |
Côtes du Rhône, La Ponce, Domaine des Escaravailles (Rhône), 2008 Owner-winemaker Gilles Ferran has made here a typical fresh but slightly spicey wine from a low yield of
Roussanne, Marsanne, old Clairette and Grenache grapes around the village of Rasteau. He has used some
of the latest techniques to produce this very high quality wine. Aficionados of good Rhône will appreciate this. | 7,40€ | £6.40 |

Delicious, refreshing and different – it even goes well with exotic food. Superb value. | 9,70€ | £8.40 |
Pinot Gris, Cuvée Bénédicte, Robert Faller et Fils (Alsace), 2007
This grape used to be known as the Tokay of Alsace, then more recently the Tokay Pinot Gris. Faller
makes some superb dry and refreshingly aromatic wines. Although it is possibly a little too powerful for
fish or shellfish, this wine will marry perfectly with exotic food or even, foie gras. | 9,90€ | £8.60 |
Riesling, Trottacker de Ribeauvillé, Robert Faller et Fils (Alsace), 2007
Faller is based in the picturesque town of Ribeauvillé, where many of Alsace’s best Rieslings are produced.

and rich in style. Amazing for its price. Enjoy! | 11,90€ | £10.30 |
Montlouis Sec, Les Dix Arpents, Domaine de la Taille aux Loups (Loire), 2007 Jacky Blot is an extra-ordinarily passionate man - recently named best winemaker of the Loire. He has put
the village of Montlouis, next to Vouvray, on the wine map. All his wines are fabulous but this dry Montlouis
is a revelation - light but packed full of dry grapey character. Super with light food. | 11,00€ | £9.60 (UK:£13.06) |
Chablis, Saint-Martin, Domaine Laroche (Chablis), 2007 Laroche’s Saint-Martin is made from the best vineyards in the village of Chablis, and is of a Premier

superb value for money, and is bound to really impress your guests. | 12,50€ | £10.90 |
Vacqueyras Blanc, Montirius (Rhône), 2004 BIO-DYNAMIC Dry but flavoursome white Rhône is very special. This is one of the best, from this bio-dynamic domaine

Châteauneuf du Pape Blanc, Domaine Patrice Magni (Rhône), 2008
Made from Roussanne, Clairette and Grenache Blanc grown on stony soil which retains the day’s heat for
the grapes at night. This is in our view a near-perfect example of quality white Châteauneuf. Dry and
aromatic with a gentle spiceyness: absolutely gorgeous... and a rarity. | 22,10€ | £19.20 |

Bourgogne, Joseph Faiveley (Burgundy), 2006
Faiveley, based in Nuits Saint-Georges, is still family-run and is one of the most respected names in
Burgundy, making particularly good Pinot Noir wines. We believe the Joseph Faiveley blend to be one
of the best value generic red Bourgogne Pinot Noirs on the market, and knocks others’ “better” names
for six. It is juicily fruity and velvety soft. | 11,10€ | £9.70 (UK: £13.20) |
Rasteau, La Ponce, Domaine des Escaravailles (Rhône), 2006 This is a legendary wine: just look it up on the internet for its various eulogies. Full, rich and powerful yet

with age, creating a complex, classy and smooth wine for enjoying at home with a few good friends. | 20,00 | € £17.40 |
Domaine de Villeneuve, Les Vieilles Vignes,
Châteauneuf du Pape (Rhône), 2006 BIO-DYNAMIC Domaine de Villeneuve, bordering Vieux Télégraphe, has three different soils and is worked bio-dynamically
